I hope you are safe and well. Know that I appreciate you being here- reading my blog. May you enjoy going through every detail of this. Let's start!💜

Krizia Ann  Mendoza, future Licensed Professional Teacher!

Papa Rey & Mama Cecilia

I am a 22 year old adventurous Filipina, born in Brunei Darussalam on December 16, 1999. The one and only adventurous child of Cecilia M. Mendoza. On my right side is my stepfather, Raymondo Malacapo.😊

Daddy, Mommy, Koby, & Sophie
Rivera Family
When I turned one (1) year old, for some reason, my mama decided to bring me under the care of her cousin, Editha Rivera, who I call Mommy until I was 11 years old, while she was still working in Brunei as an OFW.  I grew up writing her and daddy's name (Arnel F. Rivera) as my parents. Hence, whenever people would ask me, "Are you an adopted child?", with head held high I will answer, "No. Anak nila ako sa puso."

In school, I have been a consistent honor student from Kinder to Senior Highschool. However, as I look back, it is so clear to me that it has nothing to do with what I can, but with what I have- the abundant grace of God in my life.

I have also been so active in extra curricular activities in our school- Mary and Jesus School which has been my home for more than 10 years of my life. I represented the school in General Information Quiz bee twice, and also News Writing English for Journalism, and became the class Salutatorian in elementary. In Highschool, I pursued more on the sports track where I became a varsity of Badminton (Singles) in Grade 8, and Volleyball when I was Grade 10 and 11. I was also the Vice President of the Student Government Organization on my 9th Grade. Since then I was often being chosen to be a part of the school's programs as a host. Though I only graduated with honors, I was humbly given  the opportunity to hold the microphone and became a part of the program for the very last time, standing before all the graduates and parents on our graduation day.

That institution has molded me and has helped to discover the things I am passionate about.

Therefore, here I am on my third year in college and indeed, it has been a long journey. But no matter where I go and despite having the need to stand up after innumerable fallback, I will keep on pursuing this noble profession- teaching. Believing that someday, it will be so clear to me why I have to go through all that I have been just to live this dream that the Lord has planted in my heart.
